Fresno Unified high school and adult school students now have access to free monthly passes for city FAX buses. The passes are available upon request from a student’s school office. If parents do not want their student to have access to a bus pass, they can call their school’s office to opt out of this resource. The school will track any opted-out students to ensure they do not give the student a pass, even if requested.

The district was able to purchase the monthly passes for students at a discounted price through its partnership with the City of Fresno.

“Knowing that transportation can be a real barrier to getting to school, we are excited that our high school and adult school students now have access to free FAX passes. We appreciate the City of Fresno’s partnership as we bring this important resource to our students,” said Superintendent Bob Nelson.
