Duncan Polytechnical High School will hold a ceremony to commemorate the 20th anniversary of 9/11. The event will not only honor the memory of those who lost their lives but pay tribute to local veterans, police officers and firefighters. The school will host members of the community who have served and protected their community or country. This year, the ceremony will move to the back of the school to allow for better physical distancing.

The ceremony will feature the Duncan Air Force Junior ROTC color guard and cadets, as well as leadership students with American flags. Duncan invites the community to attend.

“Especially this year, the 20th anniversary, we our proud to host this annual event to remind us of a pivotal time in the history of our country and to honor our everyday heroes,” said Superintendent Bob Nelson.
