Autism iHelp Play - Students with Disabilities, Installed
Autism iHelp Play is a vocabulary teaching aid developed by parents of a child with Autism and a speech-language pathologist. It was inspired by the need for specific language intervention tools for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder focusing on their unique strengths and difficulty with expressive vocabulary. It is an invaluable tool for your child with Autism when those first words just don't come.
Autism Sensory Images - Students with Disabilities, Installed
This app provides sensory visual stimulation by projecting several different shapes and images on the screen. The shapes include: boxes, circles, lines, triangles and diamonds. The images include several different flowers and fireworks. Children playing the app can control how often the images appear and can reset the screen whenever they want.
Big Ideas - General Education, Installed
The Big Ideas Math app allows you to store and organize your Dynamic Student Edition eBooks on your mobile device. Each eBook contains the full Student Edition of the text, Dynamic Investigations that tie directly to Big Ideas Math content, and point-of-use links to additional resources and remediation.
Desmos - General Education, Installed
Explore math with Desmos! Plot functions, create tables, add sliders, animate your graphs, and more. Using a powerful and blazingly-fast math engine, the calculator can instantly plot any equation, from lines and parabolas up through derivatives and Fourier series. Sliders make it a breeze to demonstrate function transformations.
DNS Filter - Installed
Device content filtering is provided by the DNS Filter app. When enabled the content filter will prevent students from navigating to adult content and enforces safe searches on Google.com and Bing.com. In addition to filtering adult content, it prevents traffic of known malware if the device becomes infected. If the DNS Filter app is disabled on the device the parent will receive a notification.
EDTime - Installed
In order to know if the tablet is being used by students, we have installed the EDTime app which collects info about how many minutes the tablet is on. This app also collects how many minutes the learning apps that are installed by the district are used.
Excel - General Education, Installed
The powerful Microsoft Excel spreadsheet app lets you create, view, edit, and share your files with others quickly and easily. It also lets you view and edit workbooks attached to email messages. Work in accounting, auditing, finance, or other fields, with anyone, anywhere with confidence.
GeoGebra - General Education, Recommended
Easily solve math problems, graph functions and equations, do statistics and calculus, combine with interactive geometry, save and share your results. Millions of people around the world use GeoGebra to learn mathematics and science.
Jade Autism - Students with Disabilities, Installed
Jade is an app for stimulating and developing autistic and down syndrome children.
Jade counts on association games, where the child must find the answers among some categories such as Animals, Food, Colors, Numbers, Letters and Forms, thus stimulating reasoning and cognitive and logical development.
Khan Academy Website - General Education, Recommended
Khan Academy allows you to learn almost anything. Over 10,000 videos and explanations at your fingertips in math, science, economics, history, and much, much more. Sharpen your skills: over 40,000 interactive practice questions are included with instant feedback and step-by-step hints. Follow along with what you’re learning in school or practice at your own pace
Libby - General Education, Installed
Meet Libby. Discover ebooks and audiobooks from your local library. Brought to you by OverDrive. Did you know your local library has thousands of ebooks and audiobooks? You can borrow them, instantly, for free, using just the device in your hand.
OneNote - General Education, Installed
Type, hand write, draw, and clip things from the web to get down your thoughts into your notebook. Use OneNote's flexible canvas to place content anywhere you want. You can even scan hand written notes or pages straight into OneNote then make them searchable.
Sesame Street and Autism - Students with Disabilities, Installed
This is an app for families who have a child on the Autism spectrum, which will help teach your child life skills. For parents and caregivers, this app provides tools to help families with preschool aged children on the Autism spectrum. These resources will help guide families with the challenges they may face.
Sora - General Education, Recommended, Installed
The Sora app was designed around the modern student reading experience. It empowers students to discover and enjoy ebooks and audiobooks from their school, for both leisure and class-assigned reading.
Springboard Website - General Education, Recommended
A blend of directed, guided, and investigative instruction. Real-world connections that get students engaged. A deeper focus on fewer concepts, with an emphasis on procedural fluency. Students and teachers, log in with your Clever account.
Teams - General Education, Installed
Microsoft Teams is your chat-centered workspace in Office 365. Instantly access all your team’s content from a single place where messages, files, people and tools live together. This app requires appropriate commercial Office 365 subscription. If you are not sure about your organization’s subscription or the services you have access to, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Word - General Education, Installed
The trusted Word app lets you create, edit, view, and share your files with others quickly and easily. It also lets you view and edit Office docs attached to emails. With Word, your Office moves with you. Whether you are a blogger, writer, journalist, columnist, student, or a project manager working on documentation, it's as handy as you want it to be. Word introduces a PDF reader and makes reading a PDF easier.
The eLearning Companion Device Initiative will provide students 24/7 access to learning resources and activities, anytime and anywhere, on and off campus. Uninterrupted learning can occur as students have the ability to pursue educational activities wherever they happen to be. A wealth of knowledge and opportunities will be at the learners’ fingertips through the effective use of the internet and software applications. A home and school education approach will be enabled through this initiative.
