About Counseling

The Counseling Department is committed to working with each student to promote career ready graduates.  Our mission is to provide a comprehensive and developmental school counseling program of services that promotes the academic, social/emotional, and career potential of all students. Through counseling, advocacy, collaboration, leadership and systemic change, counselors direct students to achieve personal excellence, to become life-long learners and to be responsible community members.

The counseling office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each school day.  In order for students to see their counselor, they must make an appointment by completing the “request to see counselor form” located in the counseling’s’ office, Admin South building or by email.

Parents may also schedule an appointment to see their students’ counselor by phone or email.  Students are assigned to counselors based on their grade level and last name (see - Counseling Staff).
