Students in Roosevelt High School’s Public Service Pathway will have the opportunity for a comprehensive look into today’s FBI during a day-long event with FBI personnel. Presentation topics for students will include cyber crimes, the special agent physical fitness test, transnational organized crime, human trafficking, cyber safety and civil rights. The FBI’s special agent bomb technician and members of the SWAT and Evidence Response Team will also share their experiences with students. The final session, “What it Takes to Work for the FBI,” provides information about careers in the FBI. The program will conclude with a graduation ceremony for participating students.

To protect the safety of the FBI agents, media is welcome to attend the closing ceremony but not the learning sessions.

“I am very excited that our Roosevelt Public Service students will have the chance to learn about careers in the FBI directly from active personnel. This is another example of how our high school career pathways are fulfilling our district goal that learning be student-centered and include real-world learning experiences,” said Superintendent Bob Nelson.
