Online Resources and Suggested Schedule for Families

We offer a variety of ways for students to engage in exploration and learning academically and socially. We have provided every child (by grade level) with a recommended daily schedule of activities. Assignments are optional and will not be required or graded. More daily resources will be added each week.

Many curricula online learning applications are available through Clever. ​Students can also access their digital curricula through their Student Portal. When logging into a Curriculum site like Wonders or GoMath, students will need to use their full email address for the Username, including @fresnou.org. For example:  Abcd@fresnou.org 

​Students utilize these links on a frequent basis in their classrooms. Student Usernames and Passwords are located on their report cards. ​Quarter 3 report cards will be mailed home.

Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and commitment to learning as we band together in the face of significant challenges!  Fresno Unified School District is providing digital resources to our family community such as necessary laptops and tablet devices and is working with wireless providers to support students connecting from home during this time of distance learning.  The Fresno Unified default tool to support distance learning is Microsoft Teams.  With Microsoft Teams, all students and teachers are automatically connected and supported. However, your school site and teachers may use other tools that best support communicating with students and families. This site provides information and supports for c​onnecting your children to their teachers and will be updated weekly as we expand supported resources.​

​​​​​Distance Learning Support for Educators

​​Welcome Fresno Unified staff and thank you for your flexibility and innovation in support of our students and families during challenging times! As our district provides remote learning opportunities for our students, we recognize teachers and leaders may be in different stages of readiness to support students in a virtual space for distance learning. Good news: many of the strengths and assets you have in the face-to-face world translate in the virtual world! However, to support your progression, the following district webinars and resources are provided. ​


Each week will bring a new series of webinars that support teachers and leaders engaging our students in distance learning. The resources support a progression that allows for teachers to enter the learning from Foundational through Advancing skills, providing tutorials and videos for effective use of tools for high quality instruction. The apps listed on the Educator Resource Page are those provided automatically to students and teachers and can be supported by IT and Curriculum, Instruction, and Professional Learning. Schools and teachers may use other tools for effective distance learning for our students. The resources will be updated as we continue to learn from and alongside you and expand!​​

All educators and staff are welcome to attend any of the below webinars!  Click on a webinar link​ in the table below to take you straight to login to iACHIEVE.  T​hen click "Next" on the iACHIEVE registration page.  Sign into iACHIEVE with your Fresno Unified Username and Password. To support session preparation, registration for each session will close at 11:59 p.m. 2 nights before the session date.​​  For example, if the session starts on April 14, registration will close on April 12 at 11:59 p.m.​
 
Each webinar will take place within a Microsoft Teams meeting. Your instructors will email you a link to the online Microsoft Teams meeting the day before and one hour prior to the start time. Be sure to check your email for the webinar link.  If you cannot attend,​ ​webinars are recorded​ for anytime, anywhere access and will be available for access below.  We look forward to connecting with you!​
