Duncan Polytechnical High School has taken delivery of its first fully electric truck for students to work on in the Medium/Heavy Truck Technology Pathway. The district’s purchase of the Mack LR Electric truck is a significant investment to ensure students have the most up-to-date equipment to learn from as they prepare for careers in heavy truck repair, a growing industry with excellent employment potential. The Medium/Heavy Truck Technology Pathway is part of Duncan’s Innovative Design and Applied Technology Academy.

“Duncan continues to be at the forefront of career education, providing students with what they need to enter the workforce, and our industry partners with skilled job candidates. Our purchase of this new heavy electric truck is another example of investing in our students,” said Superintendent Bob Nelson.
