SNAP benefits potential lapse — November 1

With the potential lapse in SNAP benefits beginning November 1, we want to remind families that Fresno Unified schools are a safe and reliable place for students to receive free, healthy breakfast and lunch every day. Below you’ll find meal options available at school and additional community food resources.

School Breakfast & Lunch

All Fresno Unified students continue to receive free breakfast and lunch every school day. These meals support student wellness, focus, and learning.

Free After-School SuperSnack (Ages 1-18)

Many Fresno Unified sites offer a free after-school SuperSnack for children ages 1-18. Service times vary by campus and typically begin shortly after dismissal. Families are encouraged to contact their nearest participating school to confirm service hours.

Student and Families Immigration Support

Fresno Unified is committed to the success of all students, ensuring that every school is a safe, welcoming space for students and their families, regardless of citizenship or immigration status. The district will not solicit or collect information about the citizenship or immigration status of students or their families, nor will it assist with immigration enforcement at school sites, except as required by state or federal law. Board Policy 5145.13 and Administrative Regulation 5145.13 reflects our dedication to providing a supportive, inclusive environment where all students feel valued and respected.
