How do I add a new contact?

How to add a new contact
Step 1: Navigate to the "Contacts & Siblings" tab of your Student Profile. Click the "Add Contact" button near the upper-right corner of the page:

Step 2: You may see a "Suggested Contacts" option on the next page. This happens when Atlas finds a contact who may be related to your student. If you do not see this option, skip to Step 4. If you see a contact here that you would like to import, select "Import [name]" as shown below and proceed to Step 3. Otherwise, click the "No Match" button and skip to Step 4.

Step 3: To import the contact to your student's Contacts, you must select the contact's relationship to your student and specify whether this new contact will be an Emergency Contact or not. Click "Done" when finished, and the contact will be added (as shown in Step 9).

Step 4: To add a new contact, proceed through the wizard (shown below) adding all required info. In the Relationship area, you will be given the opportunity to make the new contact an Emergency Contact (as shown in Step 3), if desired.

Step 5: Wait while the contact is added to your Student Profile:

Step 6: Your new student contact will be listed among the other contacts on the Contacts & Siblings page:

How to make an existing contact an Emergency Contact
Step 1: On the Contacts & Siblings tab of the Student Profile, navigate to the contact you wish to make an Emergency Contact, and click the "Edit Relationship" button shown below:

Step 2: Next to "Emergency Contact," click on "Yes," then drag and drop to reorder the student's Emergency Contacts, if desired. Click the "Submit" button when you are done.

Step 3: The contact has now been made an Emergency Contact:

How to remove a contact
Step 1: On the Contacts & Siblings tab of the Student Profile, navigate to the contact you wish to remove, and click the "Edit Relationship" button shown below:

Step 2: Click the "Remove" button shown in the screenshot below:
