The district will hold a ribbon cutting to celebrate its new mobile health unit. The mobile unit will enable the district’s Health Services Department to expand existing services to students. The new mobile health unit has two exam rooms and a waiting area. The mobile unit will help keep students healthy and improve attendance and academic achievement. Services offered will include physicals, sports exams, immunizations, and vision and hearing screenings. The unit visits high schools throughout the district during the school year to make services more accessible for families.

“This mobile health unit will be a tremendous boost to our families and students. This brandnew unit is double in size, which translates to more services for our community. We want to help our students have bright and healthy futures,” said Superintendent Bob Nelson.
