To support students and their families, Fresno Unified will offer a week’s worth of free meals for the Thanksgiving break, with pick up on Monday, Nov. 22 from 10 a.m.-noon. Meals will be available at 18 school sites.
Elementary sites: Addams, Figarden, Jefferson and Turner
Middle school sites: Cooper Academy, Fort Miller, Sequoia, Terronez, Tioga, Wawona and Yosemite
High school sites: Bullard, Edison, Fresno, Hoover, McLane, Roosevelt and Sunnyside
“We are pleased to provide free, nutritious meals to our students, even while school is not in session. With many families struggling, we hope that these meals provide a layer of support,” said Superintendent Bob Nelson.
