Sectors: Hospitality, Tourism, & Recreation and Arts, Media & Entertainment
At Young Chef's Academy, students get to become a chef to make a nutritious brunch item. While splitting into two separate kitchens, learning centers on healthy behaviors (such as hand washing), safety (knife skills), and nutrition (including fruits and vegetables in meals). During the experience, students will utilize their math skills to complete their recipe, and when it is all finish cooking, everyone gets to eat their creations!
