Welcome and Introductions

CAC Chair – Julie Wong: Introduced the staff to parents. Ms. Wong made opening statements, CAC mission, reminder for the expected etiquette, and expected educational partners forum comments time.

6:05-6:10pm    Role Call – Business:  Roll call:  Quorum: 10 members are present / 15 people present

6:10-6:15pm    Agenda Approval

6:15-6:20pm    Previous Months Minutes

6:20-6:35pm    LCAP – Ashlee Chiarito

6:35-6:45pm    New Business (Membership):  Chair requested a motion to amend the agenda to remove the LCAP review and add Natalie Turner as a guest speaker for Fun Activities at Home for the summer.  Motion made by Eileen Giron and seconded by Natalie Turner – vote was unanimously approved.  Three new members Motion made by Eileen Giron and seconded by Natalie Turner – vote was unanimously approved.

6:45-7:00pm    Educational Partners Forum – Chair Julie Wong

7:00-7:25pm    Fun Activities at Home for the Summer – Natalie Turner

At home summer activities presented by Natalie Turner. Of note, ideas and examples to differentiate the activities between age and skill level were given.  Other suggestions for low to no cost ideas for at home activities were also given by Julie Wong and Cara Ford.

  • Both Spanish and Hmong interpretation will be provided
  • Refreshment will be served. 
  • Childcare will be provided as well.

If you cannot make the CAC meeting in person you can attend the meeting on Microsoft Teams. Please note that the online meeting will be in English only. Spanish and Hmong will be provided in person.
