Life Skills Family Engagement

The Life Skills Family Engagement initiative is a dynamic six-part workshop series designed to empower students and families with essential life skills that foster independence, resilience, and informed decision-making. Aligned with the district’s Portrait of a Learner framework, each session integrates key competencies including:

• Workshop 1 - Critical Thinking  
• Workshop 2 - Adaptability
• Workshop 3 - Communication
• Workshop 4 - Empathy 
• Workshop 5 - Digital Literacy
• Workshop 6 - Collaboration

Through interactive activities and meaningful discussions, participants will explore practical strategies for navigating real-world challenges. The series culminates with enriching opportunities bridging classroom learning with real-life experiences. This workshop series will be featured in Spring 2026.
