Life Skills Family Engagement

The Life Skills Family Engagement initiative is a dynamic six-part workshop series designed to empower students and families with essential life skills that foster independence, resilience, and informed decision-making. Aligned with the district’s Portrait of a Learner framework, each session integrates key competencies including:

• Workshop - Critical Thinking  
• Workshop - Adaptability
• Workshop - Communication
• Workshop- Empathy 
• Workshop- Digital Literacy
• Workshop- Collaboration

Through interactive activities and meaningful discussions, participants will explore practical strategies for navigating real-world challenges. The series culminates with enriching opportunities bridging classroom learning with real-life experiences. This workshop series will be featured in early Fall 2026.
