Family Leadership Academies

Parent University piloted a five-week hybrid series of new family leadership academies designed to train and develop family leaders to become effective decision-makers and strong advocates for their children’s education. A new series was also developed for families of African Americans and students with disabilities.

Participation in family leadership supports positive student outcomes by focusing on leadership, advocacy, civic engagement, and families’ decision-making toward student achievement.
