Family Community Partnerships
Parent University aims to offer comprehensive family learning opportunities for all families across the district. With the help of our community partners, we provide year-round family engagement programs in multiple languages, including English, Hmong, and Spanish.

Central Valley Immigrant Integration Collaborative (CVIIC)
In partnership with the Central Valley Immigrant Integration Collaborative (CVIIC), we connect students and their families with trusted local immigration experts. To support our community, we host six free immigration workshops each year, offering direct access to legal resources, personalized guidance, and culturally responsive services. This collaboration provides essential support in areas such as:

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Renewals
Family Emergency Preparedness Planning
Know Your Rights Education
Onsite Consultations with Immigration Attorneys

Families participated in our community partners' family learning workshops including, common core state standards, high school requirements, student support tools and resources to succeed, Q&A forums with the school’s leadership team, self-care for families, literacy, and STEM hands-on experience.
