Since 2016, Code Clubs has been making memories among our students and teachers. More than just learning, students are always engaged in a fun and memorable way.
The 2nd Annual Fresno Unified Code Clubs STEAM Fair, themed “Give Your Brain a Break,” was a spectacular event showcasing a wide array of innovative projects. Students dazzled attendees with a robots fashion show, an imaginative underwater restaurant concept, a detailed recreation of the Baird campus in Minecraft, and intricate 3D modeling projects in Tinkercad. The fair also featured hands-on STEAM/STEM activities, allowing students to engage directly with the technology and concepts they were learning about. Adding to the excitement were raffles and competitions, making the event not only educational but also fun and engaging for everyone involved. The fair was a testament to the creativity and technical prowess of the students, making it a memorable celebration of STEAM education.
In 2023, after several years of not being able to gather, our Fresno Unified Code Clubs STEAM Fair was launched. Students united to celebrate their achievements. The theme for our inaugural STEAM Fair was “Make the World a Better Place.” Students created projects that not only showcased their technical skills but also considered the social and emotional impact on their community, school, or family.

With safety precautions in place, everyone felt reassured as they navigated the new normal. The enthusiasm for learning was palpable, especially in the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) subjects. Students proudly showcased their Edison robot and Tinkercad projects, demonstrating their creativity and technical skills. The event was made even more special with the presence of parents and teachers, who came to support and celebrate the students’ achievements.
