EdTech Webinar Series

 

The Educational Technology Department is excited to present the 2025–26 EdTech Webinar Series.

Our monthly learning sessions are designed to inspire and support Fresno Unified educators as they bring meaningful and engaging technology into everyday instruction. Each webinar offers practical ideas that connect to district goals and the Technology Scope and Sequence, helping teachers build confidence and clarity around digital learning.

The series is created for all TK–12 educators, whether they are exploring new digital tools or looking for fresh ways to innovate in the classroom. Every session includes guided support, opportunities for hands‑on exploration, and follow‑up resources that educators can use right away. Recordings and resources from previous webinars are available below on the webinar webpage, making it easy to learn at any time.

Attending webinars are voluntary and open to all staff. These sessions do not include compensation, but they consistently provide high‑value ideas, inspiration, and tools that help strengthen teaching and learning across the district.

Engage and Learn with Minecraft Education

Ready to power up engagement in your classroom? Join our EdTech Team for a dynamic, interactive Minecraft Education webinar packed with ideas, strategies, and hands‑on exploration. No prior Minecraft experience is required. This session supports FUSD’s Technology Scope & Sequence by strengthening digital literacy, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills across TK–12 classrooms.

This is NOT a sit‑and‑get session — you’ll jump into Minecraft Education during the session to try out tutorial worlds, explore AI‑generated lesson ideas, and get comfortable with the tools your students will love.

Easy On‑Ramps with Tutorial Worlds: Learn how the built‑in tutorial worlds help students (and teachers) get comfortable with movement, building, interacting, and essential tools like the Camera and Portfolio.

Cyber Safety & Digital Citizenship: Access curriculum‑ready worlds that teach online safety, digital citizenship, and cybersecurity concepts aligned to national standards. 

FUSD Minecraft eSports Spotlight: Get an overview of Fresno Unified’s growing Minecraft eSports program and how it builds teamwork, creativity, and digital skills.
