Growth 2 Teach

Program Overview

Grow2Teach (G2T) is a program for Fresno Unified’s classified
employees who have a passion to teach. The program support
aspiring teachers in hard to fill areas, where we will give you the
foundations you need to become a successful teacher.

Program Support

 

• Monthly professional learning
• Free CBEST/CSET/RICA test preparation
• Academic counseling
• 25 participant cohort
• Cohort model of learning
• Research-based classroom strategies
• Winter and Summer internship opportunities

Program Qualifications

• Hold 80+ units
• Enrolled or eligible to enroll in an accredited university/agency leading to a teaching credential
• Minimum of 3.0 GPA or higher
• Current classified employee

*Grow2Teach offers an annual stipend. Participants will be offered a Fresno Unified teaching contract upon successful completion of the program.
