Student Parent Programs
Resources for parents enrolled in district schools.
The Fresno Unified School District supports all our students in achieving their goals. We provide services for all pregnant and parenting students enrolled in a Fresno Unified School District Middle School or High School.
The primary component of the program is the Student Parent Care Coordination. To extend the level of support, students can also enroll their children at the Early Learning Center at Roosevelt.
“This program helped me a lot, especially with school. And my son loved his teachers. He would run to them every day.”
Student Parent Care Coordinator
We can help all student parents to manage school and parenthood. We offer ongoing, individualized support, information on health and nutrition, help meeting with academic counselors, and links to community resources. Our support is available to all pregnant or parenting students currently enrolled in Fresno Unified School District middle or high schools.
Roosevelt Early Learning Center
The Roosevelt Early Learning Center has space available for Fresno Unified Middle School and High School student parents who are interested in care for their infant or toddler. We offer childcare services for infants and toddlers from six weeks to three years old.
The first few years of your child’s life set the stage for all areas of development including school success. We provide high-quality instruction, parent engagement, social-emotional and language development for the children in our care.
Locations and Schedules
The Roosevelt Early Learning Center operates 246 days per year to support families and their children year-round. The center is located at Roosevelt High School, East Hall and is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
