Latinx Student Unions Program

Latinx Student Union Program
The Latinx Student Union Program was created to assist and guide the growing number of Latinx Student Unions across the district. The program actively supports the Celebración Latinx Senior Recognition Ceremony organized by our partners at the Educational Leadership Foundation and Youth Leadership Institute; assists in supporting and providing consistent resources to our Latinx Student Union advisors across the district, and offers programs to all students in the district that assist with College and Career Readiness and Leadership/Life Skills. All programs and services offered by the LSU Program are available to ALL students at Fresno Unified but delivered by the resources available to the LSU Program.
Some of the workshops, trainings, and services offered by the LSU program, include:
- Bridge2College (College Preparedness Program)
- Leadership Program (delivered by the yli Youth Leadership Institute)
- Resources and Assistance for the Sí Se Puede event at Fresno State
- Resources for the Fresno State Feria de Educación
- Personnel support for Fresno Unified's Celebración Latinx High School Ceremony.
