Congratulations to our own Top Dog, chief technology officer Tami Lundberg! Tami was recently honored with a Top Dog Fresno State Alumni Award, recognizing her Bulldog spirit and unwavering dedication to the students of Fresno Unified and the greater community. Tami is a proud 1987 graduate of Fresno State’s College of Science and Mathematics.

Lauren Beal, AP African American Studies teacher at Edison High School, has been hired as a content expert consultant for AP African American Studies and will also serve as the facilitator of the AP African American Studies international webinar, the Sankofa Circle.

Children’s book author and illustrator Edward Dennis visited several Fresno Unified schools to share about his newest book, “The Boy from Mexico Becomes a Citizen.” Dennis is an entrepreneur and former educator who wants to inspire children to tell their stories.
