Pathways in the Business and Finance sector prepare graduates to work in business as accountants, analysts, managers, business owners, and more.

Students may have the opportunity to receive college credit and industry recognized certifications as well as participate in paid and unpaid internships

McLane: Finance and Entrepreneurship - Banking

A Linked Learning pathway preparing students for a career in the areas of banking and business by offering internships in a financial institution as well as work-based learning opportunities in investments, business management, marketing, and self-employment. Students can also be selected to work in the on-campus branch of US Bank as student tellers.

In addition to learning how to manage and invest money, students also investigate what it takes to create and own a business. Students study human behaviors of producing, distributing, and consuming materials, goods, and services in a world of limited resources. They learn how the financial services industry works as they strengthen the analytical, technical and communication skills needed to succeed in any economy.
