Bullard High School
Bullard High School offers multiple CTE pathways and programs. From health care to law, photography, and computer science, there are a wide array of options available to Bullard students to discover their passion and find a career they enjoy.
CTE Pathways
Biomedicine
A Linked Learning pathway helping build students’ knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Students will engage in real-world health issues and topics to develop and understanding of anatomy and physiology with the goal to be effective, compassionate health care practitioners in their community.

Business, Marketing, and Technology
A Linked Learning pathway in business marketing, sales, and service. Students utilize relevant technologies/software used in the industry as they engage in learning about graphic design, social media marketing, and video production, while strengthening their skills to build a strong online presence for business. Students run the Blue Nation Student Store, designing and creating apparel that reflects school spirit. From brainstorming ideas to managing inventory and marketing campaigns, students gain real-world skills in every aspect of running a successful business.

Law and Social Justice
A Linked Learning and LAPSEN-accredited pathway focusing on criminal and civil law, and concepts of equity, justice, and social advocacy. Students will develop strong communication skills, identify issues with justice and equity in society and become well-informed agents of change in their community. This isn't just a program; it's a transformative journey that will equip you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become a champion for justice.

Computer Science
A sequence of courses focusing on the skills needed for software development. Students learn to apply programming languages and analytical thinking to create solutions for a wide range of scientific, technological, and social problems. Digital Photography
A sequence of courses that equips students with the skills to thrive in the photography industry. Students learn camera operations, lighting techniques, editing software, and business practices, preparing them for careers as professional photographers, photo editors, or freelance artists. Develop your artistic vision, master the technical skills of photography, and learn to communicate your unique perspective through the power of the image.

Video Production
A sequence of courses designed to teach students the skills to write, produce, and edit video content for artistic, informational, and commercial purposes. Students have the opportunity to produce a regular newsmagazine show that showcases Bullard events, organizations, and activities. Dive into the exciting world of filmmaking, broadcasting, and digital media, and prepare to make your mark in the visual storytelling industry

Sports Medicine
In this exciting program, students dive deep into the world of sports science, gaining hands-on experience in injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation. Students also explore the essential role of fitness and nutrition in athletic performance and everyday health.

Teacher Academy
The Teacher Academy develops and supports high school students through their journey of becoming quality educators. It exposes students to a career in education by offering real-world learning opportunities that allow students to learn through meaningful work-based experiences including internships, employment, and/or school-based enterprises. Students go off campus and work directly with elementary students at Gibson and Malloch elementary schools. This program outlines the steps to becoming a successful educator and provides a clear bridge to employment. By participating in the Teacher Academy program, students:
- Can earn college units
- Are eligible for a position as a paraprofessional with FUSD upon high school graduation
- Gain field experience working with children
- Participate in community service learning
- Have an opportunity to take the NCLB and CBEST exams
- Receive priority consideration for Fresno Unified’s Pipeline to Teaching Programs

General Internship
This unique 2-hour class takes you off campus 4 times per week, giving you the chance to dive into real-world work environments and discover industries not covered by other Bullard CTE programs. Whether you’re passionate about business, technology, healthcare, creative arts, or something entirely different, this pathway opens doors to opportunities tailored to YOUR interests.
