Career Technical Education
Way More Than Shop Class
Fresno Unified's Career Technical Education (CTE) programs provide real-world training, hands-on learning, and industry certifications that prepare students for college, careers, and lifelong success.
Over 80 Programs Across 14 Industries
CTE helps students build technical skills, explore career pathways, and gain experience that sets them apart - whether they're heading to college or straight into the workforce. Click on the sector icons below to explore program options.
Programs by High School
Students can choose a CTE program at their neighborhood or "home" high school, apply to a specialty CTE high school, or participate in CTE while attending an alternative high school. Transportation is offered from home schools to CTE specialty campuses.
