WebGrants 4 Students

WebGrants for students account (WB4S) is used to view and manage your state financial aid (Cal Grant). This account is created through California Student Aid Commission (CSAC), California’s organization that awards state aid. This account also allows you to change your contact information, confirm school & graduation, and post leave of absence if needed!

To create an account, you must have a submitted FAFSA (after 7 days) or CADAA (after 1-3 days):

  1. Go to mygrantinfo.csac.ca.gov and click “Create an Account”
  2. Enter SSN (Social Security Number) or Dream Act ID
    • Create unique User Name (can be anything & must be available)
    • Enter Name (must match your name on financial aid application)
    • Enter Date of Birth (must match your DOB on financial aid application)
  3. Register account, create password & log into account

 

To claim your Cal Grant award on your WG4s account, you must:

  1. Confirm your School of Attendance (Beginning February)
    • On the main page of WG4S, you will see a To-Do button under your Cal Grant Award Status. Once you click this button, a window will pop up allowing you to confirm that the college listed is the school you will attend. After completing this requirement, you will see a notification that your school has been confirmed.
      OR if the school listed is not correct, you must do the following:
    • On the main page of WG4S, you will see a To-Do button under your Cal Grant Award Status. Once you click this button, a window will pop up allowing you to change the school. Follow the on-screen prompts to select a new school. Once the change has been submitted, you will see a notification that the school has been changed. If the school is not listed on your FAFSA/CA Dream Act Application you will need to add the new school.

  2. Confirm your High School Graduation (Beginning June)
    • You, your high school, or the college you attend can certify your high school graduation. After you graduate, you can self-certify your WG4S account. On the main page once you log in, you will see a To-Do button under your Cal Grant Award Status. Once you click this button, a window will pop up allowing you to confirm the month and year of your high school graduation or equivalent. Once this has been confirmed, you will see a notification that the confirmation has been submitted.
