Recovering Username

Note: You can also use your verified email or phone number to log in.

If you still need to recover your username, select one option:

• Option 1: Enter a Secure code from my authenticator app (if you have it set up)
  • Enter Last Name, Social, and Date of Birth
  • Use Authenticator App
• Option 2: Text a secure code to my mobile phone
  • Enter phone number, birth month and day.
  • Enter Secure Code
• Option 3: Email me a secure code
  • Enter email address, birth month and day
  • Enter Secure Code
• Option 4: Answer my challenge questions
  • Enter Last Name, Social, and Date of Birth
  • Answer Challenge Questions
• Option 5: Recover my account with a photo ID
  • Complete required information
  • Upload U.S. photo ID

Recovering Password

If you know your username, verified email or phone number but forgot your password, select “Forgot My Password” and enter your username, verified email address, or verified phone, and birth month and day. Select one option to recover your password:

• Option 1: Text a secure code to my mobile phone: (***) ***-****
  • Enter Secure Code
  • Create your new password
• Option 2: Email a secure code to: ********@gmail.com
  • Enter Secure Code
  • Create your new password
• Option 3: Answer challenge questions (30-minute delay if you use this option)
  • Answer Challenge Questions
  • Create your new password
