What is Short-Term Independent Study (STIS)?

• An educational option offered to students who are unable to attend their regular scheduled courses for a short duration of time.
• Students who are placed on STIS remain enrolled at current site and will receive assignments from their teachers.
• (1 – 15 school days max, per the academic school year)

How to request for STIS?

• Parent/Guardian requests Short-Term Independent Study (STIS) with school site Admin/Counselor.
• Admin will then submit a referral to ERC department
