Fresno Unified is seeking input from parents, students, community members and staff as it begins to develop the financial budget for 2021-22. This effort is part of the district’s Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) to provide multiple opportunities for community input on funding investments. The community can participate by taking an online survey available at Fresno Unified.org or attend one of the 11 virtual town hall meetings. Meetings begin Jan. 14 with the final session on Feb. 4. Meetings are also available in Spanish and Hmong.

“We want to encourage everyone to have a voice in our spending priorities by either taking the survey or participating in one of our regional virtual town halls. The community’s input is a truly valuable component as we begin to determine programs and funding that best support student success, especially the unique needs of students when they return from prolonged distance learning,” said Superintendent Bob Nelson.
