Microsoft K-12 Advisory Council

1. Establish a consistent current dialogue and forum to help enhance Microsoft’s support for K12
2. Create an outlet to gather and represent input from the US K12 community
3. Create a shared voice of K12 priorities across Microsoft and other World Wide Advisory Groups
4. Raise the level of expectations from Microsoft

Council Mission

1. Allow for an opportunity to connect with K-12 peers across the United States
2. Provide an opportunity to get a “first” look at new technologies and solutions from Microsoft and possibly be engaged for trials within their district
3. Provide an opportunity for members to provide feedback that Anthony can present to other internal Microsoft audience
4. Provide an opportunity to not just fix problems but to also deliver better solutions for education
5. Provide an opportunity to not only enhance individual relationships with Council members but to evolve the Microsoft relationship with the broader education community
6. Work in partnership with the Advisory Council to help institutions and teachers
