Fresno Unified School District Facilities Master Plan
Fresno Unified School District (FUSD) is in the process of major change to improve our schools and the education all Fresno students receive. As a result, FUSD is creating a long range facilities master plan. This plan will provide important information on what our school facilities should look and feel like now and in the future to provide excellent education and a great school experience for all students.
The Plan Components
The work to develop this plan is extensive and includes many elements including:
- Development of educational facility standards;
- A review of demographic data and trends;
- An educational suitability review of all schools and a condition assessment of high schools;
- A financial analysis of options for funding facility recommendations;
- An implementation plan for the options identified; and,
- Communications activities and engagement with stakeholders.
Community Meetings
Parents, school neighbors, teachers, school staff and community members,
are invited to community meetings to provide suggestions on how the district
