Preparing Career Ready Graduates

California Postsecondary Education Commission database includes higher education enrolment data for all public colleges and universities which can be queried by high school or district.  Data includes A-G completeres, high school graduation, enrollement, transfer, first time enrollment, degrees awarded, and more.  Reports can be run by high school, district, or legislative district.

 

Data is limited by the sources and data collection methods.  CPEC receives first-time freshman data from CC, CSU, and UC systems which is gathered by freshman who may or may not know their correct high school code and may or may not use their correct social security number.  Also, private colleges are not required to submit data.  CSIS identifiers may help in the future, but no time soon.  Also, there CC data set for Fresno City College has known innacuracies which the Chancelor's office is aware of and working on.
