The Fresno Unified School District Communications Department is responsible for internal and external communications including employee and family communications, the district website, special events, media relations, crisis response and communications. The department’s purpose is:

To build a districtwide communications infrastructure providing timely and accurate information to employees, families and the community.

To provide guidance and support to district leadership, departments, and sites regarding communications-related issues.

To create a variety of materials and tools that facilitate effective and uniform communications of district initiatives to a variety of audiences.
The department supports staff to effectively communicate with students, families, other staff and the community by preparing and sharing Fact Sheets, District Logos, Newsletters, News Releases, Presentations, Sample letters, and Speeches.
